Gerald Cohen

With a career spanning more than 30 years that includes experience in both law and health care law and management, Jerry brings a legacy of stability and professionalism to the Southeast Physician Associates team. Prior to his position at SEPA, he was Of Counsel with Waldman Trigoboff Hildebrandt Marx & Calnan, P.A.; managed Florida litigation as outside counsel to Coventry Health Care of Florida; served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Vista Healthplan (previously HIP Health Plan of Florida); was a Partner with Steel Hector & Davis; an associate with Wood Lucksinger & Epstein; and held various positions on the administrative staff of Mount Sinai Medical Center of Greater Miami. He holds a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the University of Florida and a master’s degree in health care administration from George Washington University.
