Rene Gomez

With more than 25 years’ experience in the South Florida medical community, Rene brings an invaluable perspective and deep knowledge to Southeast Physician Associates. As president and CEO, he leads the charge in the company’s daily operations. Rene previously held the position of CEO at Gomez Medical Billing in Miami-Dade, where he represented more than 100 physician groups. He also currently serves as the CEO of both Suncoast Medical Network and Suncoast Provider Network since 2007 and 2008, respectively. These entities provide the following service to physicians in the South Florida region: MSO management, Electronic Medical Records, Medical Risk Adjustment (“MRA”) auditing, medical billing and collections, MRA training, contract consultation and chart note and report reviews. When he’s not leading businesses, Rene devotes his time to numerous local charities and other philanthropic causes.
